Sligo born Melissa Curry’s innovative designs are an expression of diversity skillfully blending a myriad of distinct cultural vernaculars. There is a playful dialogue of opposites: ethnic with modern, matt and brilliant; and an intuitive sense of directional colour. Her audacious use of unusual materials is both fresh and exciting; her designs revitalise, giving familiar shapes new life.

”My neckwear contains components that offer two even three looks with a single piece.” Her collaborations include Leclaireur, Yohji Yamamoto, Phillipe Starck @ Bon, Le Bon Marche, Galeries Lafayette and selection as the Cutting Edge jewellery designer for Libertys international campaign for the London Millenium.

Her capacity to regenerate and renovate through design led Melissa into consulting for clients such as Toni & Guy, Swarovski and The Absolut Vodka crew.
